Accessibility Statement

We want everyone to be able to use skyridgelaw.com, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, voice control, or other assistive technology. If something on the site doesn't work for you, we'll help you get the information another way.

Our target

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. WCAG is published by the World Wide Web Consortium and is the most widely used standard for web accessibility.

What we've built in

  • Pages use headings, landmarks, and real lists and tables, so screen readers can move through them in a logical order.
  • A "skip to content" link at the top of every page.
  • All menus, forms, FAQ sections, and tools can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
  • Text and buttons are designed to meet AA color contrast.
  • Buttons and links are sized for touch, at least 44 by 44 pixels.
  • Images that carry meaning have text alternatives. Decorative logos are hidden from screen readers.
  • Results from the buyback calculator and eligibility checker are announced to screen readers.
  • Each page declares its language (English or Spanish), so screen readers use the right pronunciation.
  • Animations are short, and the site respects your device's reduced-motion setting.
  • Form fields have labels, and error messages say what went wrong and how to fix it.
  • Wide tables scroll inside their own labeled area on small screens, so the rest of the page doesn't.
  • If JavaScript is off, menus still work and forms show our phone number instead.

Known limits

  • Government documents. We link to forms and PDFs published by state agencies, federal agencies and courts. We don't control those files, and some may not be fully accessible. If you need one in another format, tell us and we'll help.
  • Third-party tools. Some features, such as call tracking and form processing, rely on outside providers. We choose providers with accessibility in mind but can't fully control their code.
  • Spanish content. Our Spanish-language pages cover the main topics, not every page on the English site.

Get help or report a problem

If you have trouble using any part of the site, call us at (888) 884-8551 or use the contact page. Tell us the page and what went wrong, and let us know how you'd like us to get back to you. We can go through a page's content with you over the phone, send it in another format, or take your information by phone instead of through a form.

We'll use your feedback to fix the problem.

Ongoing work

We've tested key pages, including the home page, the main lemon law guide and the calculator, with automated tools. A manual screen-reader review hasn't been done yet. Automated checks miss things, so if you hit a problem, please tell us. We recheck accessibility when we add new pages or tools. This statement was last updated on September 30, 2026.
